Thanks, Culpeper Baptist

I just returned from a wonderful weekend in Culpeper, VA, where I was the guest of the Culpeper Baptist Church choir.  My thanks to Chris Dale, minister of music, and to all the folks at Culpeper Baptist for their hospitality and hard work.  We had an intense Saturday morning rehearsal with the choir, and then sang six (that’s right – six) anthems in both Sunday morning services.  I trust thet had as positive an experience as did I.  

Culpeper is a pretty little town about 50 miles from Washington, DC.  It sits in the Virginia hills and the fall colors were really popping this weekend.  I had the privilege of staying at the Inn at Redwood, a beautifully restored Civil War era mansion.  Thanks to Carolyn and Richard Smith for putting me up so graciously.
