It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year? Already???

The snow is melting. Birds are chirping. Bees are buzzing and trees are budding. All that can only mean one thing: It’s time to talk about Christmas!

God Bless Us EveryoneBelieve it or not, this is the time of year when a lot of churches make plans for the Advent season. This is especially true for churches and faith-based theaters that mount large-scale musical productions. And to that end, I want to point those folks to God Bless Us Every One. The two-act Broadway-styled show is now in it’s second year of release to the public, and news of the show is beginning to spread.

If you missed my announcement about GBUEO last year, the show takes up the story of Charles Dickens’ beloved Tiny Tim as an adult.  You can read about it here.

The show has received uniformly high praise from performers and audiences alike.  But don’t take my word for it. Here are the producers of three recent stagings of the show:

God Bless Us Every One was a wonderful success.  Almost 7000 attended the six performances.  The audience’s reaction was overwhelmingly positive…their favorite over the past twelve years we have staged Christmas musicals.

Brian Summers – 1st Baptist Church, Marion, IL

God Bless Us Every One was a joyous experience. The story is fresh and interesting with characters that are funny and memorable. We will definitely present God Bless Us Every One again in the future. I  recommend it wholeheartedly!

Barry Cook – Burnt Hickory Baptist Church, Powder Springs, GA

God Bless Us Every was a big hit! The cast and audience fell in love with the music and the characters.  A beautiful story and musical.

Justin Carter – Cornerstone Productions, Bishop, GA

I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch the promotional video and read about the show.  If you are involved in a drama ministry, a faith-based theater, or a community theater group, God Bless Us Every One could be just the ticket for this year’s Christmas production. And if you even know someone in that world, please tell them about the show, send them here to the website, or share this post on FaceBook.

Thanks, and merry Christmas!?
