Those are the opening words of perhaps my biggest hit song, “Jesus Will Still Be There.” And things do indeed change. It is a fact of life. And among those changing things – this website.
I am currently working with R3VO media consultants to update the site and get it ready for e-commerce. With all the changes in the music publishing world, it is time that I have the capability to sell certain pieces of my music right here, directly from me to you. We cut out the middle man and pass the savings on to you!
(If the music biz doesn’t work out for me, I might try sales.)
Other changes to come here at chez Sterling include me blogging more faithfully. Those of you who follow this blog (all 4 of you), can attest my blog posts appear on a somewhat infrequent basis. (Though compared to, say, Haley’s Comet, I come around quite often. It’s really a matter of perspective, isn’t it?) Well, the folks at R3VO have made it plain I should blog more frequently than once every 6-8 weeks. And so, I vow here and now I will blog at least once every 4-5 weeks, even if it kills me.
So – look for changes in the near future. Unless, of course, this whole Internet thing is just a fad and it all goes away. If that happens, all bets are off.
I just hope that the similarities to my lyric in “Jesus Will Still Be There” stops after the first two words. Because right after “Things change” comes “Plans fail.” Yikes.
