A Prayer Request

A good friend of mine is in the hospital battling Multiple Myeloma. Readers of this blog may know her, or know her name – Deborah Craig-Claar. (She and I have written together for  fifteen or more years now. So if you use my choral music at all, chances are, you’ve sung something that Deborah had a part in.) She has just completed the chemo portion of her treatment. Tomorrow morning, she undergoes a stem cell transplant – followed by 100 days of almost complete isolation.

Deborah’s prognosis is about as positive as one can get with Multiple Myeloma. Still, the disease has no cure, only treatments that delay its onslaught.

If you’re the praying sort – please remember Deborah during this very tough recuperation time she faces.
