In Life - Debriefed

No – it’s not what you think….

Last week I spent three days on St. Simon’s Island with the Jubalheirs, a 200+ voice women’s’ choir representing Baptist churches from all across Georgia.  I was there to produce their new recording, under the able direction of their fearless leader, Jon Duncan.  I was aided by Nick Duke and Jonathan Lawhon from Augusta.

The ladies did a terrific job over three intense days of rehearsal and recording.  My job was easy.  I listened while Nick and Jonathan punched the “record” button.Spanish Moss

And it turns out St. Simon’s is a beautiful place.  We recorded at the Methodist retreat, Epworth by the Sea.  This tree was just outside the hall where we did the all the recording.

Not a bad view for a recording session.

Thanks to all involved.
